The difference between North No.2 and human beings besides the fact that North is a robot is probably in the extent to which North could be forgiving and selfless. That is not to say that human beings cannot be forgiving and selfless because there are people who are forgiving and selfless in their love and sacrifice. However, I think that most of us have difficulty forgiving repeated offences and harsh yelling directed toward us like how the musician yelled at him to not touch the piano because of our personal emotions and pride. I think it's almost natural for humans to be somewhat defensive to extreme criticism because we often live by our self-interests. North was given repeated comments about how he is a robot and could not possibly understand music. However, in Pluto, robots are very much like humans and have their own ability to think and feel in a sensitive manner. North was misunderstood and repeatedly hurt by the grumpy musician just because he is a robot. North is different because he is able to stand above all of the comments that were thrown at him and patiently and selflessly be supportive to the musician despite what the musician said. The musician was caught up by his own personal problems related to his perception of not being loved by his mother and projected his negativity to North, but North was patient and supportive of the musician even though he himself experienced terrible nightmares. I think it is a challenging thing to do for most of us to be like North because we might take offence, get angry or depressed, or even start a war. But it is not impossible. Many parents sacrifice and forgive their children out of love, and some exemplary humans show such kind of love and inspiration, even so much as to die for others, like how North died high up in the sky to protect the musician. Also, I do not criticize human self-interest because it is a positive source of motivation for may fun things in our world. Nevertheless, North is different from many humans who are not in the same kind of selflessness and love for others. He does not err in his ability to maintain levelheaded and is constantly kind in spite of criticism and offence.
